We will be in PV in mid January and I would like to find the best whale watching tour

Discover Pacific Tours with Alfredo. Not a booze cruise but a whale watching tour.

I second using Discover Pacific Tours. They know their stuff and are very ecologically aware.

definitely look for the crew that is eco friendly... it is illegal to chase the whales, but as soon as a boat finds a pod, there will come a bunch of watchers and scare them off or may even bump into some... that was what was so nice about the schooner the Mary Ann... we set canvas and sailed out and about... it was great... no motor running unless we were leaving or coming back into the harbor...

EcoTours runs a great whale watching tour. Small boats, very knowledgable marinebiologists, and hydrophones to hear the whales.

We think open-air expedition is by far the best.
They sail with a 12-persons Zodiac and can sail real fast. Best chances to see many whales.check their website at
