My wife and I will be traveling to PV 3/3-3/7 we would like to take a cruise for a day but are not interested in seimming with dolphins, whale watching, etc.. We thought taking a cruise for a day would allow us to see if we would like to take a cruise on our next vacation. Is there anywhere in PV that offers this type of cruise or are they all sight seeing cruises?

Certainly no cruise ship like Carnival, Celebrity, or something will take you out for the day. There is no way to \"test drive\" a cruise, except to take a short one first like a couple days, then if you like it, book a longer one.
There is no comparison to a floating amusement park city like a cruise line in Vallarta, but there are lots of day cruises that are good.
I can recommend the Geronimo Catamaran for a nice relaxing day, the Pirate Ship during the day if you have kids, or a cruise to Yelapa.
