I would really recommend that you get to
Yelapa. You can take the day cruise on the Sarape, or you can take the water taxi over and back. The water taxi will save you some money over the cost of the Sarape Tour. When you go be sure and buy some pie from the pie lady that walks the beach. These pies are the best pies you have ever ate. She bakes them in an earthen oven. She builds a wood fire inside, gets the refractory hot, then scrapes out the wood and ashes and places the pies inside to bake. You can also walk to a waterfall (about 20 minutes walk) or ride horses to the falls.
Yelapa is still a primitive village, but there are
restaurants, stores, places to spend the night, etc.
If you take one trip I would strongly recommend you go to
Yelapa.
Enjoy your trip.
