Wondering if any one has taken the dune buggy tour looks awesome is it worth the time and money? Just twelve more days till take off.

Be prepared to pay for gas in addition to the quoted price. You will get very dirty and sweaty, especially your shoes, so dress appropriately. It is a blast...

Be very careful when renting from Mudrats!!! We took the tour, but one of the dune buggies broke on the tour. Upon return we were forced to pay over $350, even though the deposit was only $100. The machines were old and could break at any time, and if you are driving it, its on you.

We were there in March 2005 - they had all brand new machines. We had no problems!!! I would recommend them to anyone. Perhaps when you were there, they still had old machines. The ones we rode were all 2005 models - Honda.
