rapidtales is right, the reason you are going is to have fun. everything will fall into place. it always does. and i have said it before, bzy1 is a wealth of useful information, along with a few other board regulars.

Oh, the kids will love Splash, and so will you adults:) Plan a hot day and got there and spend the afternoon! It is the big water park out in Nuevo. ATM buses marked Splash go there. They also have a dolphin and seal show.

You can find 15% off coupons all over town, ask your hotel or check in the local markets.

My nieces and nephews decided the best souvenirs to bring back to all their friends was Mexican candy, gum and chiclets. They loved Wal-Mart the best. because it was fun for them to compare a MX Wal-Mart to one Stateside and they got a kick out of the differences. But by far, the candy aisle really held their attention and they loaded up on Spanish labeled treats. Of course, at the same time my brother was drooling in the liquor aisle, loading up on adult treats.
I also turned him on to Rompope (almost an eggnog liquor) that you pour over vanilla ice cream...yum! (add a dash of Kahlua for the best effect;)

well, tammy, we will be there the 14th....have been reading up a lot about the area...just cant wait...
