Hola, you need to be more clear on your statements. Not ALL horseback rides go to \"waterfalls\" and are as trecherous as you are describing. There are many different, (safe and qualified) ranches...so please be a bit more specific before scaring everyone off the horseback riding!!!!!!

I apologize that my posting conveyed my fear so harshly. Horseback riding was one of the things we wanted to do.
Thanks Bob for being sympathetic. I wish my husband and I knew about the horse riding tour you mentioned in your reply,that would have been a better choice for us.
I wish we would have asked the tour coordinator at our resort the specifics on the tour. All we were told when we booked was the horses were docile it included breakfast, lunch and open bar.
All I wanted to convey was \"ask\" the tour coordinator specifics on the tour your booking.
