Are there any jungle tours at all? Which ones would you recommend? I checked out the Sierra Madre Expedition and that is kind of what I am looking for.

Depends on what you want.
Sierra Madre tour with Vallarta Adventures is in a 4 wheel drive mercedez truck.
You can also go to the jungles by horse, foot, bike, jeep, canopy, bus, mule.....
Some places are more touristy than others, some have waterfalls, some food and so on....
I would say that all the tours are great but, it just depends on what kind of tour you want and how strenuous.

There are many kinds of tours you can do in Vllarta. I think I can say that i`ve been on most of them and Ii can tell you that the Sierra Madre of Vallarta Adventures was THE BEST!! They had great staff, the food was excellent... yes, we had a perfect day! Our guide was Acael but I heard that Salvador is a great guide as well! Have fun!
