i heard from another source that YO-YO was charging $35 - $40, flight times varied based on the crowds waiting in line...
I also paid 40.00USD at the Mayan Palace marina beach.
I should have asked when I was there. I went on the zip line tour at Los Veronas and I believe they said the highest point there was either 350 or 450 feet (memory is failing......). The para sailing seemed way higher. One site I found about para sailing said you went around 1000 feet and thats why I picked that number. Loco was the guy that took us para sailing. Need a number so I can either admit defeat to my husband or sort of a victory. He was thinking I was only up around 350 feet but considering the Holiday Inn looking tiny from the sky I figured it must have been higher then that.
If you were twice as high as the Peninsula, it would be 500 feet.
Thanks - all I know is it was d*** high!!
The Holiday Inn is what, 21 floors? Multiply by 10 feet per floor, add another 100 feet, and maybe its 350 feet. At least thats what it looked like to me. Plenty high enough!
My daughter went parasailing and we watched her from a little restaurant on the beach (open air). I have no idea where we were but the man who we paid to take her up had lived in San Francisco. We are going back next year and she wants to do it again. I know it was within walking distance of Diamonds Intl. If anyone could tell me the name of the restaurant I would appreciate it. I also know that the ATV excursions frm NCL end up there.
