8) is it wiser to pre-pay via the internet on some of the activities, or is it ok to pay at the site of the activity. i ask because it is the first time to pv and i wonder if it makes a difference in price and security reasons.

six to one, a half dozen to another. If you do book online here thru the PV.net website, make sure you print off your voucher and KEEP it with you, do not forget it. because with out it you are screwed. so make sure you have it with you... our friends from Colorado had problems when they forgot theirs.

it also depends on what you want to do and when you do it.

we have done both...

tyler and myself booked when we arrived at our hotel there was no price difference. by doing it this way we made a great friend.
Car rentals are cheaper online. Other than that, I tend to agree with Don, in so far as booking with a pre-determined date and time goes.
