pregnant and Puerto Vallarta -- what to do?

Started December 27, 2006 · 3,605 views · 3 posts
Hi everyone! I have been lurking for a while and really appreciate all of the good information... We will be coming to PV for the 1st time on Jan 9th, and has a few questions...

I will be 5 months preggo, and would like to do a snorkeling trip, any info on some laid back trips?

Also, how strenuous is the canopy thing? That sure looks fun, and if it is just sitting and zipping thru the jungle, then I could handle that... Any info on stuff above would be appreciated!

Thanks for your help,

Sue

I think the big thing here, Sue, is to be safe. Ask your doctor what your limitations might be and take it from there. He might suggest that you ease back on the physical activities. After all, each pregnant woman is different, and you will probably have your own unique limitations. Chuck... 8)
Agreed with Dr. Charlieb.... The canopy tours also have some climbing up to the next level to zip across to the landing etc.. so depending on how you have been doing physically with your pregnancy (weight gain versus physical stamina versus current physical condition and conditioning)... we want you to have a great time in Vallarta, but we also want you to be safe, and enjoy... congrats on the baby... but as suggested, when you have your next checkup, ask your physician what he/she thinks and go from there....
