I recently received a promotional trip on Carnival cruise Pride to the Mexican Riviera on Nov. 4-11. The cruise offers an all day excursion via catamaran to Yelapa and Majahuitas for snorkel/party etc. Is this a good place for snorkeling? Any other thoughts, suggestions for the one day I will be there? This is my very first trip to Mexico besides a very long and unpleasant three hours in Tiajuana many years ago that jaded my view. I have always chosen Hawaii over Mexico but hope I can see those spots that will make me want to come back as I have seen so many on this forum desire.

bring some banana from the resort, they love it...my brother threw some at me in the water last year and the fish swarmed me...exciting and scary at the same time..my family thought it was a hoot...LOLThat sounds like lots of fun! Will take that into account too, good tip.
