scuba diving

Is the diving as good as the promotions for it? Any recommendations as to the best company to use?

I would recommend either Boca Divers down south or PacificScuba. I have done the big companies but perfer the smaller group setting. I also find if the water is murkey or any other wierd things are happening we can hit another cove to get the better dive trip.

Karla is top notch in our books but you do have to travel (we just take the bus) to Boca.

Hi,

I had a blast with the guys from OceanQuest. The diving at Los Arcos was fantastic.

From the dive shop you take a public bus to Mismaloya to hook up with the dive boat...it was a great intro to taking the public bus for me and I never used a cab in PV again after that.

If you get a chance, the night diving at Los Arcos was great...I got to put a hawksbill turtle and see some other great life that only appears after dark.

Do any of the dive operators pick up at the hotels?
We are considering Playa del sol grand or Paradise Village Beach Resort.
Pls advise.
