Snorkeling

Does anyone know of the best possible places to go snorkeling in the months of June?

My call would be the Marietas Islands or points north/south of PV proper - north of Punta Mita and south of Yelapa. Water should be clearer and more sea life to observe I would think.

I Have been reading the bulletins for snorkeling and have noticed the only place mentioned as good snorkling is the Marieta islands. We are comming to puerto vallarta in June. I have been looking into all the tours and notice many of them mentioning snorkeling at the caletas, in fact frommers travel book on Puerto Vallarta says its \"wonderful for snorkeling, other places I have herd of are Las Animas,Quimixto, yelpa, and Punta Mita. Is none of this true?
