snorkeling

i was just wondering if you had ever snorkeled before. we have been to both sites in addition to los arcos. i think that if you are a beginer that you should first try los arcos as i feel the water is a little calmer their than the marietas. but last time we went to the marietas we did see a manta ray about 12 foot wide on the way there, that was pretty cool. :D actually if i were you i would probably try all 3 even if it is only for an hour or two at each spot.

hey ho sully, are you planning to take snorkel equipment down there with you or will you be buying it there? just curious. ill be looking to fit my bums... er boys out with snorkel and mask in the coming wks. one trip to edmonton to sportschek or some such should solve that one.
so youre a newfie :arrow: wonderful. my greatgrandmother grew up in carbonnear. nee bemister. about 30 of us descendants went to poole, uk, area summer 2004 to see where they all came from originally. love all of it. hope to go to see carbonnear one day before too long. cheers.

oh yes tom i thot caletas would be a very nice beach to return to for snorkelling. btw, bzy suggested it would be a great choice so i do indeed plan to go back there.

was in city yesterday for marathon of errands including to south side for snorkel gear at that ocean sports. Grant looked after us and was absolutely fabulous. bot mask and snorkel combo + fins for both boys. had thot id go to the fort today for the 1 30 swim but we are just too durned tired! xo jennie

weight omy i had a surprise last time with the weight issue. hadnt been warned and was shifting things around in the bags at check-in. awful for those who arent prepared for it, isnt it.
