Several of us will be visiting the area the first part of January. A couple that will be with us has been before but rarely ventured outside of the resort. For myself, I have spent time in Guadalajara, Mexico City and lived in Merida, Yucatan for a couple of years and I prefer to get out and see and do. We are staying at the Riu Jalisco which I recognize as being away from the main part of PV. I would welcome any must-sees/do suggestions that you might have. We have a couple of 20 year olds who will be doing a zip line and we have planned on Rhythms of the Night, but I am interested in interesting areas to visit for shopping as well as sites. I am not very familiar with Bucerias either and would welcome any suggestions for that area as well. The fellas enjoy good cigars and for myself I am looking for a fantastic mojito.
