swim with dolphins??

I hearf a rumor that home land security is about to anounce that there is a report of a dolfin uprising planned for October 31. They are reported to have swore to take no prisoners! Go at your own risk!

How far is Splash Waterpark from the cruiseships in PV? Do we need to take a cab?

Yes you need to take a cab or bus. Too far to walk. Maybe 5 kms.

I did the Swim with the Dolphins with Vallarta Adventures on the 4th October and thoroughly enjoyed it. There were 3 groups of 6 people and each group had two dolphins. The pool we were in was huge. The pictures and videos they took were amazing.

I also think that the dolphins should be free but was very pleased that I had the chance to swim with them as it was something I had always wanted to do.

We booked our swim over the internet and did not have any problems.

Who all have done the Dlophin encounter, which is around $50 in the ocean? That is the one I am considering but would like to know if it is worth it. Anyone???

VA has two tanks, one onsite (concrete for both swim and the encounter) the other is down the road and is a plastic and canvas type pool set up in a canal (sorta ocean-y) but not really, more like a floating pool.

In other area of MEX (XEL-Ha and Isla) they have sectioned off an area in the ocean (or lagoon) where the dolphins are in a much bigger space and have access to fresh ocean water and small fish to feed on like in the wild.
