Arriving in town agian in a short while and was wondering. . .
What was the most fun adventure you have all had in PV?
I would be more than happy lounging on the beaches or sampling the foods downtown the entire week, but was thinking of trying a tour or going on a little adventure this time around....
any suggestions????? :wink:

I still think one of the best tours that we took was the San Sabastian tour... we flew up there (they have now paved the road and it is supposed to be a nice drive up there too if you rent a car for the day)... but there was so much history, stories of the silver and copper mines, etc... it was great... The coffee plantation is nice... got some excellent coffee beans from that we took home with us... then there is the Tortilla factory (Trust me OSHA would have them locked down if they saw our pictures of them working there)... the lunch at the hostel was very imformal, so you got to visit with the other tourists as well as those feeding you... oh so good too... the best is at the end when you meet with the Dona Conchita... and all the fine clothes, and pictures, and family history... it is just so moving...

but then that is jmo......

Well maybe not the funnest but a PV adventure for sure...
Jumping off a Resort roof into water and the arms of a Mexican fireman...then sitting on a jet ski hanging on to a palm tree all the while waving at the Mexican army..that is enough PV adventure for me..
:D Now I would prefer the spa tours and a few tame tours like the turtle camp :)and night of the Iguana that I read about on this site.

thanks, it was an adventure to say the least. It was one of the longer tours that i would recommend... it is just one of those that touches the soul when you get to meet the people, the history, the culture, etc... i just hope the new road is one of those \"advances\" for the future that ruins it ... have a good one....

Out of all the tours and adventures we did Id have to say the best was sitting on the beach under a palapa with my toes in the sand and a beer in my hand and looking at my husband thinking to myself this is one heck of a life I have. :)

Although there are so many fun ones - I have to say I really enjoyed the Los Veranos Canopy Tour.

Hi I thought I would throw my 2 cents in.
6 of us went to PV stayed at the Decameron It is an all inclusive!
All meals,shows,kyaks,boogie boards, scuba lessons, and all drinks are free!
We were there for 8 days
We went on the \"day\" Pirate tour (78dollars) it is mostly family but so much fun. Breakfast and lunch is served and it is good!

We also went on the \"Rythm of the Night\" (80 dollars) the Las Caletas night tour A very nice romantic dinner is served.

A couple of us went on the canopy tour.(80 dollars) you cross a couple of rope bridges and go down about 7 zip lines. always attached to a line for safety.

All of these can be done through the Vallarta adventure tours in Nuevo Vallarta.
We ended our stay with a nice massage (40 dollars for an hour) at the hotel.
We did hit Bucerias Flea market a taxi is 2 dollars, you could walk it takes about 15 minutes.

It was our first trip and we will go back next year.

A female impersonator / transvestite show at The Palm club by far the an entertaining and fun show. Other than that I get a lot of enjoyment out of walking the Malecon Sunday evenings, then popping into La Bogedita del Medio for a couple of mojitos and some live cuban music.
