Has anyone ever been to the waterpark in PV? Can anyone suggest tours or activites for an eight year old?

The water park is excellent you will love it!

Thanks for the input. I was wondering if you felt safe eating the food there? Can you bring in your own picnic lunch? Is there a bus from downtown or should we take a cab? (any idea how much?) Is there a dolphin show or is that at another park? Thanks!

Just my 2 cents here on the park. I would bring my own food the selection looked iffy. The slides had to be closed for hours due to a hornet nest problem when we were there last week. We ended up going back to our resort for the afternoon and then returning for an hour at the end of the day. It was very busy but the kids enjoyed the slides. There was lots of tables and chairs 1 or 2 loungers for the place. Get there early if you want to be close to the ends of the slides and near your kids. It is not Tyhoon Lagoon or Blizzard Beach like in Florida if that is what you are expecting, but it is not a bad place to go if the kids need something different from your pool or the ocean.
