Re:what about horseback riding through the jungle???
Rancho El Charro is excellent for horseback rides. The owner has been here for years, and has some of the best horses in Vallarta, in fact, her horses were used for the Conan the Adventurer series filmed here in Vallarta. She has a jungle/river/waterfall ride and the guides are excellent. The horses are well cared for and can support up to 250 pound riders..unlike some of the thinner not as well cared for horses you see around here. I brought my neices and nephew on a ride and they loved it, especially since they had never been riding before- plus I knew they would be safe...(otherwise I would be one dead aunt once my brother got a hold of me!)
