Will they let you board the big cruise ship to look around?

My question is simply the subject title: Will they let you board the big cruise ship to look around if you are not a passenger?

I would imagine probably not, (Security Policies, etc.) but one never knows.

Access to all of the cruise ships is limited to passengers and crew only. They issues an ID card to all of the passengers and to the crew.

no, you will not get close to the big ships. we have taken a couple of cruises, and as big daddy said they hand out i.d. cards that go thru a security check. take a cruise it is lots of fun. our last one took us to cabo, mazatlan, and p.v. we get off the ship early and get to spend the whole day in the city. m.m.

We prefer the AI at a nice resort vs a cruise. There are just too many people on those boats, like during embarcation and debarcation. We took 4 cruises and will not do that again. Also the cruise is not AI. The bar bill alone is enough to wreck my budjet.

chuck, i find it hard to believe that you could have that high of a bar bill lol. we have been on 2 cruises i enjoyed it more than jen did. the last one we took was a mexican riviera cruise. at least we got to p.v. you are right though. the cruise is not nearly as nice as staying at an a/i. m.m.
