The magic town of Mascota, Jalisco, is inviting outdoor enthusiasts to its First Kayak Fishing Tournament 2026, held on March 14 and 15. This debut event will take place at the scenic Presa Corrinchis, a local gem known for its calm waters and natural beauty.
Organized by the Municipal Sports Department, the tournament aims to promote sustainable sport fishing and family fun while highlighting Mascota as a premier destination for eco-tourism.
The competition will follow a “Catch and Release” format to protect the local ecosystem, with bass (lobina) being the primary target species.
