Labyrinthe Sets Two Choral Concerts in Puerto Vallarta

International a cappella ensemble Labyrinthe will give two Puerto Vallarta concerts this week, bringing a compact program of Renaissance, spiritual, contemporary and folk choral music to two local venues.

The first performance is scheduled for Friday, August 7, 2026, at 8:00 p.m. at Biblioteca Los Mangos, Av. Francisco Villa 1001. The second is set for Saturday, August 8, at 9:00 p.m. at Iglesia de la Santa Cruz, Aguacate 233 in the Romantic Zone.

Poder Coral describes Labyrinthe as a professional international ensemble returning to the bay for two exclusive performances. The program ranges from Jacob Arcadelt and Thomas Tallis to Joaquín Rodrigo, African American spirituals arranged by Moses Hogan and Stacey Gibbs, contemporary works by Morten Lauridsen and Joe Paquin, and folk pieces from the Philippines, Colombia and France.

General admission is listed at 300 pesos, with 250-peso tickets for students and INAPAM members. For visitors planning an evening out, the Saturday venue is close to south-side restaurants and galleries, while the Friday venue sits inland from the downtown Puerto Vallarta corridor. The concerts are a timely addition to the city’s arts and culture calendar during the quieter summer season.

Because both performances are indoors, visitors can plan around the rainy-season weather and pair the concert with an early dinner or gallery stop before returning to their hotel.
