Puerto Vallarta Expects Six Cruise Arrivals in August

Puerto Vallarta is scheduled for six international cruise arrivals in August 2026, a modest but useful mid-summer boost for tour operators, taxis, restaurants and shops around the port corridor.

Contralínea reported that the month opens with a double call on Tuesday, August 4, when Carnival Panorama and Royal Caribbean’s Navigator of the Seas are expected in port. CruiseTimetables lists Carnival Panorama from 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. and Navigator of the Seas from 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. that day.

The remaining August schedule includes Navigator of the Seas on August 11 and 18, Carnival Panorama on August 20, and Crystal Symphony on August 28. Contralínea said the six calls would bring Puerto Vallarta to 95 cruise arrivals so far this year, nearly even with the 96 recorded during the same period last year.

For visitors arriving by ship, the cruise terminal sits close to Marina Vallarta, with easy taxi access toward the hotel zone, the Puerto Vallarta Malecón and downtown. Travelers planning a short port day should confirm the latest ship times with their cruise line and use the Puerto Vallarta maps hub to group nearby stops before heading out.
