Puerto Vallarta is preparing for its beloved annual Fiestas de Mayo celebration, scheduled to take place from May 16th to June 1st at the Explanada Vallarta. This year’s festivities promise a wide array of entertainment for the entire family, featuring a diverse lineup of events.
The schedule includes a variety of attractions, such as thrilling lucha libre wrestling matches, traditional jaripeo rodeos, live concerts, engaging children’s shows, and a special surprise performance to conclude the celebration. The festivities will kick off on Friday, May 16th, with lucha libre, followed by a joint performance by Jorge Medina and Josi Cuen on Saturday, May 17th. Sunday, May 18th, will feature traditional jaripeo, and the popular Enanitos Toreros will perform on Monday, May 19th.
The musical lineup continues with the renowned Mariachi Vargas on Tuesday, May 20th, and a Disney show for children on Wednesday, May 21st. Mi Banda El Mexicano will take the stage on Thursday, May 22nd, followed by a tribute to El Buki on Friday, May 23rd. Saturday, May 24th, will be dedicated to Quebradita Time with Banda Maguey, Vaqueros, and Banda Mach. Sunday, May 25th, will feature the Jaripeo Saltos de Gloria spectacle, and Monday, May 26th, will host a clown show. The week will conclude with performances by Banda Brava (May 27th), Muay Thai demonstrations (May 28th), Banda Móvil (May 29th), Grupo Firme (May 30th), and Sonora Mermelada (May 31st).
The Fiestas de Mayo 2025 will culminate on Sunday, June 1st, with a highly anticipated surprise performance by an artist whose identity has yet to be revealed.
