Mexico Tourism Gears Up for Busy Summer Season

The Confederation of National Chambers of Commerce, Services, and Tourism (Concanaco Servytur) estimates that the upcoming summer vacation season in Mexico will generate economic benefits of 893.205 billion pesos (approximately $48.649 billion). This figure represents a 15% increase compared to 2023.

According to the Mexican Ministry of Tourism, one of the main destinations chosen by vacationers are Puerto Vallarta in Jalisco and Los Cabos in Baja California Sur. The Magical Towns are also among the top city destinations.

The expected increase for the next summer vacation season, which runs from July 15 to August 25, reflects the renewed confidence consumers have in being able to enjoy unique experiences in Mexico’s beaches, cities, and towns.

Concanaco Servytur also recognized the crucial role that tourism plays in the country’s economic reactivation, benefiting family businesses in the sector across different destinations.
