Eight restaurants across Nayarit have earned placement in the Guía México Gastronómico 2026, one of the country’s most influential dining selections. Curated by Culinaria Mexicana and a panel of industry experts, the annual guide recognizes top restaurants nationwide based on consistency, culinary concept, technique, and identity.
The recognized establishments span the Riviera Nayarit coast and the state capital of Tepic:

- Cosecha Farm to Table — Mezcales
- Emiliano — Tepic
- Hector’s Kitchen — Punta de Mita
- La Casa by Thierry Blouet — Bucerías
- Loma 42 — Tepic and Bahía de Banderas
- Makai — Punta de Mita
- Zicatela — Punta de Mita
The inclusion signals Nayarit’s growing reputation as a serious gastronomic destination that balances regional authenticity with international standards. Local producers are also gaining recognition, from Vinos Meseta del Cielo in the Jala highlands to Tequila Real de Ixtlán and regional raicilla, adding depth to the state’s food-and-beverage profile.
