The tradition of introducing young people to the sport of fishing continues as Puerto Vallarta prepares to celebrate the 33rd annual Children’s Fishing Tournament. This long-standing event, organized by the Puerto Vallarta Fishing Club AC, provides a fun and engaging opportunity for local children to learn about and participate in sport fishing.
This year’s tournament is scheduled to take place on Sunday, April 27th, from 8:00 am to 11:00 am at the Marina Vallarta dock, located next to the Marina del Rey condominiums. The event offers a safe and accessible environment for children to experience the joys of fishing under the guidance of experienced organizers.
Registration for the Children’s Fishing Tournament is currently open and is divided into two age categories: Category A for children aged 2 to 6 years, and Category B for those aged 7 to 12 years. To ensure the safety and supervision of all participants, each child must be accompanied by a responsible adult throughout the duration of the event.
