Camarones Beach Debuts First of PV’s New Lifeguard Stations

As part of a move to improve safety along its coastline, Puerto Vallarta unveiled a brand-new lifeguard tower on Camarones Beach. This initiative, driven by the administration of Mayor Luis Munguía, marks the beginning of a larger plan to better protect beachgoers during the busy Holy Week and Easter vacation period.

The newly installed tower will serve as a vital hub for rescue personnel, allowing for quicker responses to any emergencies and contributing to a more secure and pleasant beach environment for everyone.

The wider project, as outlined by Misael López Muro, Director of Civil Protection and Firefighters, will involve the strategic placement of a total of twelve lifeguard towers along the bay’s most popular beaches. This will include six large towers and six medium-sized ones, providing comprehensive coverage across the Banderas Bay coastline.
