Yesterday, November 11, 2025, Puerto Vallarta celebrated the first triple cruise ship arrival of the season. This bustling event injected thousands of international tourists into the city, marking a substantial boost to the port’s activity as the high season gets underway.
According to the National Port System Administration (Asipona Vallarta), three international vessels docked consecutively at the maritime terminal, generating an immediate surge in visitor mobility. The day began early with the arrival of the Norwegian Jade at 6:00 a.m., docking at International Pier 2 before its scheduled departure at 6:00 p.m.
Shortly after, the magnificent Nieuw Amsterdam, a vessel measuring 285 meters in length, arrived at International Pier 1 at 7:30 a.m. Both the Norwegian Jade and the Nieuw Amsterdam arrived from San Diego and are en route to Mazatlán, contributing to the busy travel corridor.
The third vessel to complete the trio was the massive Carnival Panorama, arriving at 8:50 a.m. from Long Beach, California, and docking at International Pier 3. This enormous 323-meter cruise liner remained in port the longest, departing at 10:00 p.m.
