Puerto Vallarta is inviting couples to celebrate their love against the backdrop of the Pacific Ocean during the 2026 Collective Marriage Campaign. This massive seaside ceremony will take place on March 27, 2026, at the iconic Malecón Arches. The initiative allows couples to get legally married in a civil ceremony completely free of charge, providing a unique and beautiful way to formalize their commitment with the sea as their witness.
To participate, couples must submit their documentation by the March 13 deadline. The required paperwork includes birth certificates and valid official IDs for both partners, along with a completed registration form. Applications are being accepted Monday through Friday, from 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., at various Civil Registry offices, including those in Ixtapa, Las Palmas, El Pitillal, Las Juntas, and the La Aurora neighborhood.
This annual program is designed to support local families by providing legal certainty and protection for both the couples and their children.
