Vallarta Botanical Garden to Host Bird and Nature Festival

The Vallarta Botanical Garden will host its annual Bird and Nature Festival on Sunday, February 23rd. This event celebrates the rich avian diversity of the region, home to over 300 bird species, particularly in Puerto Vallarta, Cabo Corrientes, and Bahía de Banderas.

The Garden, a 135-acre sanctuary located 1,300 feet above sea level in bird-rich Cabo Corrientes, provides an ideal setting for birdwatching, with over 200 recorded species. The festival offers a full day of activities, including guided bird tours, children’s programs, and informative presentations focused on conservation. Attendees will have the opportunity to learn about the region’s iconic bird species, their ecological roles, and ongoing conservation efforts.

The festival aims to raise awareness and inspire action towards wildlife and habitat conservation in Mexico. This year’s event offers a variety of engaging activities, including educational presentations, children’s programs, and guided bird tours.
