Porter Airlines is significantly boosting its winter flight schedule, increasing total sunny destination flights by 25% for the 2025–2026 season. This major expansion focuses on strengthening connectivity between Canada and popular warm-weather destinations, including Mexico’s Pacific coast.
Crucially for West Coast travel, Porter will be increasing capacity on its existing route to Puerto Vallarta from key Canadian airports. This move directly addresses the growing demand from Canadian travelers seeking reliable and easy winter escapes to the Banderas Bay region.
All expanded services, including the route to Puerto Vallarta, will utilize Porter’s modern Embraer E195-E2 aircraft. Passengers on these flights will enjoy an elevated economy experience, which features no middle seats, complimentary Wi-Fi, premium snacks, and beverages.
