The 2026 VidantaWorld Mexico Open, an official PGA TOUR event, runs from Thursday, October 29 to Sunday, November 1 at VidantaWorld Vallarta. The Puerto Vallarta Tourism Board’s event listing and BanderasNews both confirm the dates and note that this is the first time the tournament has been played in the fall.
The field of 120 players will compete on the VidantaWorld Vallarta Course, designed by Greg Norman, for a $6 million USD purse and 500 FedExCup points. This year’s edition also joins the 100th anniversary celebrations of the Mexican Golf Federation.
Who is playing
BanderasNews reports a field headed by two-time U.S. Open champion Wyndham Clark, 2023 tournament champion Tony Finau and former U.S. Open winner Lucas Glover, with defending champion Brian Campbell back to defend his title. Five Mexican golfers are in the field: Álvaro Ortiz, Omar Morales, Santiago de la Fuente, Mauricio Figueroa and Alejandro Fierro, the last two through the Monday qualifier.
