Construction is well underway on the second terminal at Puerto Vallarta International Airport, with plans for completion in 2025 and a full operational launch in 2026.
The new terminal will span over 68,000 square meters, representing a 150% expansion of the airport’s capacity. It will feature 19 jet bridges, up from the current 11, and 16 remote boarding gates, an increase from 9.
This significant expansion will enable the airport to handle 4.5 million passengers annually, catering to the growing tourism demand in Puerto Vallarta.
The new terminal will undoubtedly enhance the passenger experience at Puerto Vallarta International Airport, offering modern facilities, improved efficiency, and seamless connectivity.
