Gringo Gulch and city tours

Gringo Gulch looks like a nice place to tour...
Where is the best place to start the tour
I would prefer to walk around the area ..any tips and places not to miss

Also has anyone taken the city bus tour..
Where does the bus tour start? How long ?
I enjoy looking at homes.... any other suggestions would be appreciated on
where the best places in PV are to take photos of pretty flowered balconies and windows etc..

We must have had the same waiter. I put 20% tip on the table and we left to go back to the bus. The waiter picked up the tip, RAN after us, and threw it on the dirt by our feet and had the gaul to tell me \"it was not enough\". Chuck... 8)

Although the places the tour takes you to are wonderful
after reading the suggestions I have decide that I know we would not enjoy touring with 80 other people.
I also would not like to be timed when touring .
I prefer a very slow pace when site seeing and to just take the day as it comes..
I think I thought the city bus tour was just sitting on a bus that takes you around the city showing you different neighborhoods.. :oops: :)

Winnipeg gal 1 is probably right this tour would be very good for a PV first timer...

And... it looks like the tip of the day is to have lots of change for tipping... :) waiters etc. who are rude after the tips received makes one feel you do not want to tip then all...Rather give the money to those that appreciate it..
First trip first few hours in PV the bellhop turned up his nose at our Canadian money tip..He actually pointed in my wallet the money he wished to have for his tip...
Other than meeting one or 2 rude unappreciative folks.... The rest have been very thankful for the tips received and we enjoy giving..

Just to clarify on the 80 people... the bus seats that many but on our tour I think there were less than 15 people...

We also only had about 15 people in our group.

On one of our very first trips, we hired a local taxi cab driver for a hour city tour which cost $20 USD. It was great learning about the city from his personal perspective.
