13th Vallarta Aztec Folklore Festival
Now in its 13th edition, the Vallarta Azteca folk group will once again put on its traditional dance festival; a highly anticipated event in the region. On this occasion it will be held from April 28th through May 5th.
Besides 12 dance companies from Mexico, coming from states like Nayarit, Colima, Sinaloa, Guerrero, Aguascalientes and Jalisco, the festival will feature dancers from Italy, Panamá, Ecuador, Perú, Colombia, Chile, El Salvador, Israel and Bolivia.
The inauguration event will be on April 28th on the Malecón. The dancers will pose as a group at the Arcos del Malecon and then will do a parade from there to the Pensions Institute (IPEJAL) where the festival will take place.
Access to the festival is completely free and it takes place from 6:00 – 11:00 pm.
