University of Guadalajara (CUCosta) is set to open a new gastronomy market in Puerto Vallarta, offering a unique culinary experience for both locals and visitors.
The market will be located within the Gourmet Station at CUCosta and will showcase traditional Mexican dishes prepared by students in the Bachelor of Science and Culinary Arts program. Chef Luis del Sordo, program coordinator, explained that the market is expected to be fully operational within the next 40 days.
The market will not only provide a hands-on learning experience for students but will also serve as a valuable business opportunity. It will offer a diverse selection of foods from across Mexico, including the possibility of tequila, craft beer, and raicilla.
Mayor Luis Munguía has expressed his full support for the project, promising to facilitate necessary procedures for its operation and promotion. The market is expected to fill a void in the local market by providing affordable and delicious food options for both residents and tourists.
