Along with the Las Juntas traffic circle interchange, the new Mismaloya pier is seeing significant progress, these two major infrastructure projects are designed to enhance connectivity and tourism in the region. Jalisco’s Secretary of Infrastructure and Public Works, David Zamora Bueno, recently conducted a site visit to oversee the advancement of these initiatives, which are expected to have a substantial positive impact on the region.
The Mismaloya pier, a component of the state’s “Nautical Ladder” project, aims to upgrade maritime infrastructure, making it easier for visitors to embark and disembark and thereby boosting tourism activity in the area. This development includes the construction of the pier itself, pathways leading to the beach, public lighting, and a connection to the Jalisco Network for high-speed internet, ensuring a functional and secure environment for everyone.
The initial phase of this project, backed by an investment of approximately 55 million pesos, is projected for completion by November 2025, with construction carried out in coordination with the Municipal Government and the Secretariat of the Navy.
