New glass observation deck in Puerto Vallarta

Jorullo Point viewpoint is inaugurated, which can be accessed via a suspension bridge in Puerto Vallarta, providing views of the mountains, the Cuale River, and the ocean.

This viewpoint is part of the Canopy El Jorullo and Ejido ecotourism complex. The focal point of this expansion is an innovative suspension bridge, 200 meters long and 100 meters high, designed for RZR vehicles and pedestrians, offering a unique and exhilarating experience at an altitude of 420 meters above sea level.

Upon crossing this bridge, visitors are welcomed by a relaxation area with a drink bar, a panoramic swing, and a glass-floored viewpoint, offering spectacular views of the Cuale Sierra, the Cuale River, and the sea.

Canopy El Jorullo aims to diversify the range of experiences in this sustainable ecotourism complex. In addition to thrilling attractions, the site features a hiking trail leading to the new point, accessible after a two-and-a-half-hour walk from the restaurant at the park’s entrance.

Luis Villaseñor, CEO of the Public Trust for the Promotion and Advertising of Tourism in Puerto Vallarta, emphasizes the importance of this event, emphasizing the need to offer variety as a tourist destination. He also highlights that these mountains are not just an attraction but also a crucial source of income for many residents of the region.

The park, employing approximately 150 people, mostly local youth, presents itself as an economic driver and an opportunity to enrich the tourist experience in Puerto Vallarta.

Norma Furlong, representative of the Skall World Tourism Association Vallarta chapter, expresses full support for Canopy, emphasizing the commitment to improve and strengthen the tourism industry.

The construction of “El Jorullo Point” took a year and a half and is now open to the public through local tour operators and general access at the park’s entrance.

Looking to the future, El Jorullo’s executives are considering the possibility of adding a cable car from this new point to the mountain, a project they will present at the opportune moment.
