SEAPAL Vallarta distributed more than 4 million liters of potable water to Puerto Vallarta neighborhoods affected by a recent service contingency linked to delayed work by the Puerto Vallarta-Las Varas highway concessionaire.
The water utility said the emergency operation prioritized hospitals, health centers and homes in areas including Las Juntas, Vallarta 500, Las Mojoneras, Guadalupe Victoria, Los Portales and the middle and upper sections of El Pitillal. Crews used SEAPAL tanker trucks, rented and private support units, and vehicles carrying water tanks to maintain distribution while repairs and service-stabilization work continued.
