Restaurants in Puerto Vallarta and Bahía de Banderas are gearing up for the upcoming Independence Day long weekend, with a wide array of special menus and promotions aimed at attracting both local residents and tourists. The local chapter of the National Chamber of the Restaurant and Spiced Food Industry (Canirac) announced that its members are ready to welcome patrons with a taste of traditional Mexican culture.
According to Martha Leticia Parra Vargas, president of Canirac Puerto Vallarta-Bahía de Banderas, participating establishments will offer everything from classic celebratory dishes like chiles en nogada to special drink deals, including two-for-one tequila. In addition to these culinary offerings, restaurants across the bay will feature various discounts and special menus throughout the festive period.
The restaurant association leader remains hopeful that the holiday weekend will provide a much-needed boost for the sector. She reiterated her invitation to the community and visitors to enjoy the local gastronomic offerings during the Fiestas Patrias, emphasizing the commitment of local businesses to provide a high-quality experience.
