The local tourism office offers a daily and free sightseeing tour of downtown Puerto Vallarta. Staff will take you off on a fabulous walking tour of the streets and legendary locations in the center area of PV.
Tours start off at the Tourism Office at City Hall the corner that is closest to the plaza and the Guadalupe Parish.

IFC Puerto Vallarta Home Tours
Tuesdays & Wednesdays, starting at 10:30AM -support their Cleft Palate Surgery Program and other local charities.
Every Tuesday and Wednesday through March 25, 2015, you’ll travel in comfort on an air-conditioned tour bus while enjoying an entertaining narrative by friendly tour guides who’ll take you on a guided tour of four beautiful and unique Puerto Vallarta homes, ranging from small, traditional style casas to multi-million dollar beachfront condos and villas. Tours last approximately 3 hours.
On tour days tickets go on sale at 9 a.m. at Sea Monkey Restaurant, Aquiles Serdan on the beach. Bus leaves at 10:30 a.m. The cost: $500 pesos. Reservations can be made at www.ifctoursforvallarta.com.

ArtWalk in Downtown Puerto Vallarta

Art lovers can explore numerous artistic offerings during the Puerto Vallarta Centro Historico ArtWalk, a self-guided tour of ten downtown galleries with cocktail exhibitions that can be enjoyed every Wednesday evening from 6-10pm from October 29, 2014 through May 27, 2015.
The event provides a fun and relaxed atmosphere for all those that enjoy art, both locals and international visitors, so they can find new options and learn about the quality art in PV.

Free Malecón Sculpture Walk
Tuesdays, starting at 9:30AM
The highly popular free Malecón Sculpture Walking Tour created and conducted by Galería Pacifico owner Gary Thompson will again be offered every Tuesday this season, beginning November 12, at 9:30 AM in front of the Millennium sculpture next to the Hotel Rosita, at the north end of the Malecón in downtown Puerto Vallarta.
Sculptor Mathis Lidice, for the eighth year of this tour, will once again be present to describe his inspiration for this creation. Gary will lead the walking tour along the Malecón, covering about 15 sculptures before ending at Galería Pacifico’s facility, 174 Aldama Street. More information.

XV Art Auction
January 29, 2015 – Los Mangos Library. The art auction at the library is the most important fundraising event of the year. Annual funds raised allow the library to provide a variety of important cultural services to the community.
