Jalisco to Promote Puerto Vallarta at Cruise Fair in Miami

Jalisco will have a significant presence at the 2025 edition of Seatrade Cruise Global, the world’s leading cruise industry trade fair, taking place from April 7th to 10th at the Miami Beach Convention Center in Florida. The primary goal of Jalisco’s participation is to further establish Puerto Vallarta as a preferred destination for cruise passengers, thereby strengthening the state’s overall tourism promotion strategy.

Seatrade Cruise Global, attracting over 11,000 attendees, 600 exhibitors, and representatives from more than 70 cruise lines, presents a strategic opportunity for Jalisco to cultivate business partnerships, establish new industry contacts, and attract more cruise ships to its Pacific coast. Michelle Fridman Hirsch, Jalisco’s Secretary of Tourism, explained that their work plan focuses on increasing the number of routes, frequencies, and passengers, as well as strengthening commercial relationships with cruise lines and enhancing the visitor experience in Puerto Vallarta.

The Jalisco delegation, led by Luis Villaseñor and Carlos Mora, representatives from the Puerto Vallarta Tourism Trust, will engage in meetings with key industry leaders to forge alliances that will solidify Puerto Vallarta’s position as a strategic hub for international trade and cooperation.
