233 Couples Unite in Vallarta’s Collective Wedding Ceremony
A heartwarming display of commitment and unity unfolded in Puerto Vallarta on Friday as 233 couples exchanged vows during the city’s annual Collective Weddings event. This year’s celebration, set against the scenic oceanfront, marked the largest collective wedding ceremony in the past ten years, making it a truly significant occasion for the community.
Mayor Luis Munguía, a strong advocate for the event and even serving as a best man, expressed the municipal government’s deep-seated belief in the importance of love and family. He reaffirmed the administration’s commitment to nurturing a prosperous Puerto Vallarta where these newly formed families can thrive and build their futures together.
The joyous event featured a vibrant mariachi performance, a traditional cake-cutting ceremony, a celebratory toast to the newlyweds, and gifts for the couples embarking on their married lives. The couples also had the special opportunity to capture a memorable photograph with Mayor Munguía, all while being serenaded by the uplifting tunes of a traditional mariachi band.
