Final Chance for Free Malecon Sculpture Tour by Galería Pacífico

This is your last chance to participate in the popular Free Malecon Sculpture Tour, offered by Galería Pacífico, as the season concludes mid-April. This unique opportunity allows both visitors and locals to delve into the artistic treasures that adorn Puerto Vallarta’s iconic Malecon.

Every Tuesday, starting at 9:30 am, renowned gallerist Gary Thompson leads participants on an insightful two-hour journey through the Malecon’s open-air art gallery. The tour provides a fascinating look into the history, stories, and intriguing details behind beloved sculptures such as “The Boy on the Seahorse,” “Nostalgia,” and “Triton and Mermaid,” among others.

The tour commences at the northern end of the Malecon, at the intersection of 31 de Octubre Street, where the “Los Milenios” sculpture stands. This is the starting point for a walk through Puerto Vallarta’s cultural heart, offering a deeper appreciation for the public art that defines the city’s landscape.

This guided tour is offered completely free of charge, providing an accessible cultural experience for everyone. Participants have the option to make a voluntary donation, which will directly benefit the Biblioteca Los Mangos Library, a longstanding cultural institution in Puerto Vallarta.
