Puerto Vallarta will be the host of the 2019 Concacaf Beach Soccer Championship, taking place on May 13-19, as previously announced by Concacaf (Confederation of North, Central America and Caribbean Association Football) and Beach Soccer Worldwide (BSWW).
The 2019 edition of the biannual Concacaf event, which will be held with the support of the Municipal Government of Puerto Vallarta, will have the participation of the 16 best national beach soccer teams in the region. The two best-ranked teams in the competition will also ensure qualification for the FIFA Beach Soccer World Cup Paraguay 2019.
Soccer fans are encouraged to come cheer Mexico on at the 2019 Concacaf Beach Soccer Championship games, which will be held on the IPEJAL grounds in front of Puerto Vallarta's Agustin Flores Contreras Municipal Stadium, an area typically used for world-class beach volleyball competitions, from May 13-19, 2019.
Participating teams include Antigua and Barbuda, Bahamas, Belize, Bonaire, Costa Rica, El Salvador, Guadeloupe, Guatemala, Guyana, Jamaica, Mexico, Panama, Trinidad and Tobago, Turks and Caicos Islands, United States and US Virgin Islands. These 16 teams will be sorted into four groups of four teams. After round-robin play, the first and second place finishers of each group will advance to the quarterfinals. Quarterfinals winners will advance to the semifinals. Semifinal winners will automatically qualify for the tournament's final, as well as the FIFA Beach Soccer World Cup Paraguay 2019.
The public is invited to come watch the competitions, which promise to be full of surprises and adrenaline for athletes and spectators alike.

Hecho en México 2019 starts on May 4th and will end on May 31st, with four main focuses: art, fashion, music and gastronomy.

This year marks the third edition of the ‘Great Superhero Race’ in Puerto Vallarta, on Sunday, April 28, starting at 8:00 pm, at the Unidad Deportiva Agustín Flores Contreras.
The main requisite to participate in the race is to dress accordingly, with a superhero costume from any movie or comic you enjoy.
There will be seven categories in the race: "Súper Baby" ages 3 to 5, "Flash" 6 to 8, "Incredibles" 9 to 11, "Wonder" 12 to 14, "Invincibles" 15 to 17, "Spider" 18 to 25 and "Iron Man" at 26 years old. All of these categories have different distances and will present several obstacles.
The cost is $50 pesos for children and $100 pesos for adults until Saturday, on Sunday, the day of the race the cost will be $70 and $120 pesos, respectively. All proceedings from the race will go to support the members of Karate school ‘Okinawa-te’.

The main Vallarta Pride 2019 parade will take place on Thursday, May 23, at 5:00pm. It will start at the Sheraton Bungavillas and end at the intersection of Olas Altas and Rodolfo Gómez st.
Over the past few years Puerto Vallarta pride has grown to become one of the most important gay events in the annual city calendar. Created to extend the tourism season beyond April, the event takes place in May each year. The weather is warm and mild and the atmosphere is electric.
This year the main parade takes place from 5:00PM on Thursday, May 23rd, 2019. The start of the parade is at the Sheraton Buganvilias to Malecon, to Lazaro Cardenas’ Park ending at the corner of Olas Altas and Rodolfo Gomez Street. Other highlights include, the Lazaro Cardenas Park Party, ground zero for the main festivities of this year’s Vallarta Pride.
Sunday includes the Mantamar pool party. Other events include a Gay Art Walk, Beach gym and shopping days, a special Circuit Party at Puerto de Luna, the Wet and Wild Cruise plus a host of community activities and cultural events.
