Description

Don`t go all the way to Galapagos to observe a great variety of seabirds that nest and rest here among which is the world famous blue-footed booby, magnificent frigate birds, several species of seagulls, also some herons and egrets, as well as pelicans.

Visit Marietas Islands National Park and enjoy the great submarine world great diversity of fish that find food and shelter in the reefs of the site, such as the king angelfish, the Moorish idol and giant damselfish, as well various species of surgeonfish, butterflyfish, parrot fish and balloon fish. As part of the rocky reef we can observe several species of corals and sponges, as well as tunicates, starfish and sea urchins, among other marine invertebrates that your guide will point out. You can also watch, with a bit of luck and patience, dolphins or sea turtles resting or traveling near the place.

Our Marietas Islands snorkeling trip is different from other trips!
We only take small groups and our trip is really focused on snorkeling and enjoying the beauty of the islands.

  • At the check in will be collected the entrance and conservation fee of $100 mx pesos per person (federal and local taxes).

Restrictions
  • Safety measures have been added for all activities and Covid-19 protocols are implemented. Face masks required for traveler at the check in.
  • Should follow the rules established by the CONANP (National Commission of Protected Natural Areas) to visit the Islas Marietas National Park. Drones, smoking and use of sprays or lotions are prohibited around the park.
  • Only 116 persons by day are permit to get in to the hidden Beach and we’ll do our best effort on every visit to get places for our tourists to enter, but it’s not always possible due ocean’s conditions or places not available, so we can’t warranty the entrance on each departure. $25 USD extra to get in to the hidden beach.
  • The famous Playa del Amor, or Hidden Beach, is a small sandy beach within the island. The access to it is strictly regulated and it is done by swimming from the boat about 120 meters, passing through a rock tunnel.
  • At the check in will be collected the entrance and conservation fee of $100 mx pesos per person (federal and local taxes)
  • Only for hidden beach, age limits are 10 to 65 years old. Allowance 10 minutes visit on the beach. The use of a helmet and a vest are mandatory.
  • Not recommended for expecting mothers, high blood pressure, and people with back, heart or neck problems.
  • All participants should be able to swim on their own and feel comfortable putting their face in the water. If you’ve never done snorkeling before our snorkeling guide will show you how to use the equipment. Only snorkeling is allowed and the life jacket is mandatory.
  • All participants must be able to enter and leave the boat with the help of a ladder.
