Expo Municipios Underway in Vallarta

This past Wednesday, April 11th, Vallarta welcomed representatives of the artistic community of Magdalena as part of the ‘Expo Municipios’ event, which will run through Sunday, April 15th.

 

In light of Vallarta’s 100th anniversary, the mucicipality is promoting the traditions of Vallarta from 4pm to 11pm, the expo will be held in the Hidalgo Park, Plaza de Armas and the Municipal Presidency residence.

Some of the participants of this event include production houses “Standard Art Stone”, specializing in obsidian craftsmanship; and “TFM” known for their used of opal. Likewise, Magdalena’s Contemporary Dance Company will present the play ‘Contumaz’ n Friday, april 13th.

Magdalena is a town and municipality in the state of Jalisco in central-western Mexico. It borders the state of Nayarit to the west, and the town of Tequila to the east. This town is home to several natural, cultural and historical attractions.
