Puerto Vallarta International Fishing Tournament announced

In a press conference, members of the board of directors of the Puerto Vallarta Sport Fishing Club, led by the club’s president at the time, Rodolfo Bárcenas Escudero, said that this time the event will be called the “Marlin and Tuna Fishing Tournament” and that it will have prizes worth almost 1.5 million pesos.

Ludvig Estrada Virgen, director of Tourism and Municipal Economic Development, stressed that this is one of the most well-known events in the area and the biggest sporting event in Puerto Vallarta, which is why the administration of Professor Luis Alberto Michel Rodriguez supports it.

In his words, “it is an event that has continued to grow and that gives great diffusion to the destination, attracts a significant number of foreigners who have participated in the tournament for three generations, and that in this 2022, which has been excellent in the tourism sector, will without a doubt be a great success.”

Vice Admiral Fernando R. Sosa, Commander of the XIIZona Naval, Eulogio L. Rodriguez and David Zaragoza Camacho, members of the Fishing Club, Luis Villaseor Nolasco, director of the Tourism Trust, and sponsors were also there.
