Puerto Vallarta’s Malecon (boardwalk) is the obvious city favorite, not only for the locals and Mexicans but for all those visiting the city. There’s so much to see, experience and enjoy, all in one place.

Part of the non-stop attraction this seaside walkway holds lies in the many beautiful, strange, cryptic statues that are found every 100 or so yards along the way.

Some have been there for more than 40 years, others are relative newcomers and have no more than a few years, but all are great photo opportunities and some are even waiting for you to climb or sit on them.

The map shows the location of the statues that are on the original malecón that runs from south of Hotel Rosita all the way to the Naval museum in downtown PV.
